Pastor and Sister Sangl answered the call of God to start a new work in Greensburg in May of 1997. With just his wife, 3 children, and 3 other founding members they acquired a building and property at 1011 Barachel Lane and held their first service on Sunday evening, May 18, 1997.
Pastor Sangl is committed to bringing the One God message and the Acts 2:38 Plan of Salvation to the City of Greensburg and surrounding communities.
My vision is that Apostolic Truth Tabernacle will always be a "House of Refuge" - a place where the sinner can find true Bible Salvation and where weary souls can find help on their journey to Heaven.

New Worship Facility
Apostolic Truth Tabernacle is committed to serving our community and providing services to all regardless of their membership status.

Today is a GREAT DAY for Apostolic Truth Tabernacle!!!
Today we officially CLOSED on the Wolf Theatre Building and Property directly across from our current church location! This building will soon be transformed into our new Worship Facility and Family Life Campus.
As many know, ATT purchased property at the corner of Moscow Road and W Veterans Way back in 2019 and had been actively planning and preparing to build a brand-new worship facility at that location. Earlier this year, however, we learned that the Wolf Theatre would be closing and that the building and property were available for purchase.
Although our focus at the time was completely centered on new construction, we felt it was worth taking a serious look at this opportunity to determine:
1. Would the building work for our ministry needs?
2. What advantages and cost savings might come from repurposing an existing structure?
To make a long story short — it quickly became apparent that purchasing and repurposing the Wolf Theatre property was the best path forward for Apostolic Truth Tabernacle. After negotiations and much prayer, we reached an agreement…
And TODAY — we officially became the owners of the property!
Here are just a few reasons this opportunity became such a “no-brainer” for our church family:
• 28,420 square feet with the ability to utilize portions of a second floor
• 4.54 acres of property
• 240 paved parking spaces
• One of the highest traffic counts in our city with incredible visibility
• Existing utilities already connected
• Existing fire sprinkler system throughout the building
• Directly across Moscow Road from our current location
• The facility allows for everything we had planned in new construction — and even more
• When completed, the building exterior will appear brand new, and the entire interior will be completely new as well
We are including a current photo of the building along with an AI rendering of what we hope the finished facility will look like.
WHERE WE GO FROM HERE:
• Architect has officially been hired
• Floor plan schematics are in final revisions before moving into full architectural design
• Interior demolition is scheduled to begin in approximately 30 days
• Target move-in date is sometime in 2027
• LOTS of work ahead between now and then!
Most importantly — we are thankful to God for His favor, His provision, and His direction. We truly believe the greatest days of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle are still ahead.

Under Truth Recovery Solutions we have partnered with Decatur County Court Services to provide opportunities to our residents who need a helping hand in an environment that is welcoming and nonjudgemental.
We offer classes to support our community in Alcohol Treatment, Parenting, Anger Management, and Finance. The ultimate goal is to further our mission to reach lost souls and to provide citizens a safe place to take control of their lives and continue their journey living for God.
